At least I did earlier. I came across an old tape of dance music I made years ago. It had some good old songs like Shout, Celebration, YMCA, The Electric Slide, and Ghostbusters on it. I put it in, cranked it up, and danced around for about 45 minutes. I really got my heart pumping and I worked up a good sweat, too. I had so much fun, I didn’t even realize that I was basically working out! I really enjoyed it. I think I’ll do it again tomorrow.
What amazes me even more is that my back didn’t hurt afterwards. My feet are a little sore but my back doesn’t hurt at all. That is a miracle! Apparently, all those ab crunches are working. My muscles are getting stronger and doing a better job of supporting my lower back when I’m standing or sitting up. I’ve noticed that my stomach area feels tighter lately and the weight doesn’t feel like it’s pulling down as much when I stand up. I’ve still got a lot to lose, but if working out gets easier, the weight loss gets easier, too. I’ve already lost 3 more pounds. That’s a total of 8 pounds gone in just 4 weeks.
I’m really proud of myself.
Oh, I got myself some watermelon yesterday, too, and boy was it delicious. I had a nice, healthy sandwich, a piece of watermelon, and a nice, cold glass of iced tea for dinner. It was heaven!
