Well, I guess you can see I decided to go ahead and get the second hamster. This is Lizzie. Isn’t she a cutie? She’s just a little bit bigger than Luka but not much. They look so cute together. So far, they’re still a bit leary of each other and have been scrapping a bit since I brought Lizzie home but they are beginning to adjust and I think they’re going to end up being great companions for each other. Right now they have worn themselves out with all the bickering so they are both sleeping, not quite snuggled together but at least they are laying next to each other, so it’s a good start. A little while ago they wouldn’t even stay on the same side of the cage without fussing at each other.
I think I made the right decision in getting Lizzie. I love them both and they are both sweet and loveable little hamsters who like to be handled and cuddled. I’m going to enjoy having them in my life.
