I’ve been thinking about this blog quite a bit and have come to the conclusion that I’m not happy with it’s current direction. Although I want to continue commenting on the world around me, I want to steer this blog in a more positive direction.
Even though I know there’s a lot of evil in the world today and a lot of conflict over moral issues going on in the news, focusing on it on a daily basis is depressing. I need to balance things out a little bit. If I don’t, I’ll end up losing interest in this blog and writing in it won’t be fun anymore.
I want to focus on the positive aspects of being a Christian and how it has improved the quality of my life. I want to show my readers just how much my faith in Christ has changed my life for the better. Christianity isn’t just about being saved so I can go to heaven “someday.” It’s about faith and trust in Someone who loves me and cares for me RIGHT NOW. It’s about knowing that Someone bigger and more powerful than I am is in charge. There is NOTHING He can’t handle. Christ is all about Love!
