While spending the afternoon with my 9 year old niece and 2 year old nephew the other day, we came across a wonderful web site that offers free downloads of kids music. We spent the afternoon dancing around the livingroom and listening to dozens of fun songs. I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. I felt like a kid again myself and enjoyed spending the afternoon creating a memory that we will all remember for a long, long time. By the end of the day, I had downloaded nearly 50 songs and burned them to a CD for the kids to take home and enjoy whenever they want to.
In a world that seems to be moving faster and faster, it’s always good to take time to slow down and enjoy life, especially with the kids. They grow up so fast and the opportunity for creating memories can slip away before you know it. So, take a day, download some songs, and just dance the afternoon away. Create a memory. And if you don’t have kids, borrow some, or just dance all by yourself. You’ll be amazed at how good it feels.
I’d recommend you start with “Crazy Dance” and “Ants In My Pants!” They were a big hit at my house!
