Hello Everyone!
Well, amzingly, I survived my move to the other side of town, but it sure has been a hectic adventure. I’m slowly unpacking my boxes, a few at a time, and hopefully life will return to normal soon. Luckily, it appears that everything survived the move intact except for one bag of cat food, which seems to have vanished off the face of the earth...lol. At least I finally found my kitchenware yesterday, so now I can actually start cooking real food. I definitely think I’ll be avoiding fast food for a while. There’s only so much of that stuff you can eat.
Even more amazing, in the midst of this whole adventure, my hamster, Luka, had another litter of babies. Seven of them this time. I started out with just 2 hamsters about a month and a half ago, and now with this recent litter and the one she had 3 weeks ago, I am up to 14 hamsters. Needless to say, Papa Hamster, Sam, and the other litter, which ended up being all male, have been moved to a separate hamster house of their own. No more breeding allowed in this house. As soon as the new litter is old enough, I will remove any that are males and put them in with the other ones. Hopefully, Luka will have some females in this litter, otherwise, she’s going to be a very lonely girl when the males are removed.
Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick update and let everyone know I’m still here and I haven’t forgotten about writing. My high speed internet connection won’t be up and running until next Friday, so I probably won’t start writing regularly until then. Right now I’m stuck with dial-up access and it’s annoyingly slow. I don’t see how anyone can function with this. It’s driving me crazy. I’ll be jumping for joy when I have my DSL back.
