It's bad enough that sexual abuse and molestation have been running rampant among Catholic Priests, now they are adding murder and satanic rituals to the list? Where does it end?
I'm not Catholic although I was baptized as one when I was born. I am Seventh Day Adventist. Seventh Day Adventists and Catholics will never see eye to eye when it comes to doctrinal issues. I do not hate Catholics. I'll make that clear right up front. I do not, however, agree with much of anything they believe in. It is my view that Catholicism is a seriously misguided religion that lacks basic Biblical validation for many of its beliefs. The Catholic faith is a man-made faith and nothing more. It contains just enough truth to make it appear genuine while leading millions of people away from the real Truth. It is a perfect breeding ground for Satan and he uses it well.
I'm not going to say that none of the other religions have ever had their problems or that people from other faiths don't do bad things. That would be a lie. We are ALL human and we are ALL sinners. No one can escape that. It just seems that the Catholic Church has an unusually high amount of serious morality issues within it's leadership, issues that have been going on for years and being kept under wraps by people who are supposed to be "men of God." These are the people that the Catholics confess to, the very men who are supposed to be handing out the forgiveness of sins and yet they are committing some horrible things under their guise of purity. Because of their positions of spiritual leadership, they are supposed to be held to higher ground. They are the ones who are supposed to set the example for the rest of the Church. If you can't trust your Priest or you Pastor, who can you trust?
If there's one thing that irritates me most about Catholics, it's the stubborn refusal of many of them to admit that Priests and even the Pope are nothing more than mere human men. They are NOT infallible as some Catholics suggest. They sin just like the rest of us. Some Catholics refuse to see the truth even when it's right there in front of them. That blindness is what made it possible for so many Priest to continue their abuses for so many years. The congregation refused to believe that things like that could ever be done by a priest and the leaders were more than willing to play on that belief and keep the truth hidden. To me, the Catholic Church is nothing more than a den of half-truths and outright lies.
As the Bible says, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." Matthew 7:15,16
There seem to be a lot of rotten apples in the Catholic Church.
